This beautiful and iconic Islamic Art Museum Malaysia is located at the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. It is the Southeast Asia largest museum of Islamic art since 1998. 2. Royal Museum
Royal Museum is the past official residence of is Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Her Majesty Raja Permaisuri Agong for more than 50 years (from 1957 until 2011). However, this building was built way further back from 1928 by a Chinese Millionaire called Chan Wing as his mansion. Since then, the building was transferred and occupied by multiple authorities, including as Japanese official quarters (during Japanese occupation) and as British Military Administration’s Royal Air Force (after the end of WWII). After Malaysia Federal Government bought over the place, it was then officially becoming the National Palace, our Royal Residence. It has undergone several massive renovations with the addition of Balairung Seri hall for official ceremonies. 8. The Stadthuys, Malacca State
The Stadthuys is believed to be one of the oldest Dutch building in the East. It was built between 1941 to 1960 on the destruction of a Portuguese fort. As for now, the Stadthuys is located at the Church Street in Malacca State.
